Carols and Lullabies...And Songs

A Holiday Concert by The Michael Teolis Singers

Picture

“Carols and Lullabies … and Songs,” is the theme for our Christmas concert as we help composer Conrad Susa celebrate his 75th birthday by presenting his Carols and Lullabies: Christmas in the Southwest. The piece, comprised of 10 movements, will be sung in the original Spanish dialects associated with the songs. From his A Christmas Service, we will present tenor W. Kim Lyons’ “Sussex Carol.” Rounding out the program will be some arrangements of some new and traditional songs and carols, including Jim Rusk’s “The Pretty Little Dolly,” “Santa, Bring My Baby Back to Me,” and Teolis’ arrangement of “Wassail, Wassail.”
