June 8, 2015 Thank you to all who supported the Michael Teolis Singers during our 8th season! Our extraordinary musical year included amazing literature, highlighted talented young composers and featured the music of many familiar artists. At Christmas, “A Very British Christmas” introduced and reintroduced some wonderful works such as Percy Grainger’s There Was a Pig Went Out to Dig, Edward Elgar’s Ave Maria, John Rutter’s What Sweeter Music, and Geoffrey Bush’s magical Christmas Cantata. Our concert ended with the audience joining with the chorus, organ, and orchestra in a rousing version of We Wish You a Merry Christmas, arranged by our maestro... |
